Partnership with Wasser für Wasser (WfW)
Tap water is valuable and hundreds of millions of people do not take it for granted. Together with the non-profit organisation WASSER FÜR WASSER (WfW), we promote the value of clean water and use this attitude to raise awareness among our guests. Our income from tap water sales enables us to implement WfW's water, hygiene and education programmes in Mozambique, Zambia and Switzerland.

Energy-saving measures
We at the Hotel Belvedere Grindelwald have also decided on various measures to make a contribution. A selection:
- The Christmas lighting will be reduced to the large fir tree in the garden and the trees at the entrance as well as limited in time
- The hotel's contour lighting has been replaced by new Led lamps
- The sauna will no longer be switched on according to a fixed schedule but on request of the guests
- The temperature is slightly reduced in certain common areas
- The most important information for your stay is now available digitally on the SuitePad in your room, instead of being handed out in printed form on arrival
The Hauser family and the entire Belvedere team thank you for your understanding!

Rooms with A/C (Air Cooling)
The Hotel Belvedere is the first hotel in the Bernese Oberland to offer Air Conditioning in all rooms. The cooling system uses cold water from an underground source to cool the air. This avoids the use of power-intensive generators and thanks to that the air-cooling system fits in very well with the hotel’s sustainability philosophy.
