Following your arrival at the Hotel Belvedere in Grindelwald, we cordially invite you to a welcome drink. Take a seat in our cosy «Stuba» living room or on the terrace, and let the unique alpine panorama dominated by the Eiger put you in the holiday mood. Or play a game of billiards in probably the most beautiful billiards room in the Alps.
On six days a week during the winter and summer seasons, our pianist provides musical entertainment for your pre-dinner drinks and nightcaps.
The bar
Hotel guests and external guests meet in the Belvedere bar for an aperitive and to bring the day to a close in pleasant company. You can also discover the creativity of our barmen and enjoy their classic and modern cocktails, finest gins and whiskies or a regional beer. The perfect opportunity to get to know other guests and exchange holiday experiences with them.

Little treats
Tasty snacks for those feeling peckish, or a delicious cake to accompany coffee or tea: enjoy our gastronomic treats during the day, too, in the living room, on the terrace or in the bar.
During the summer when the weather is fine, we are also delighted to serve you dinner on the panorama terrace: with everything the kitchen and cellar has to offer.
The crystal: The centre of the hotel
Since the end of March 2019, a crystal weighing more than 200 kilograms has been the centrepiece of our living room. This smoky quartz was discovered in the Galmi region behind the Finsteraarhorn, in a cleft at more than 3'000 meters above sea level.
Dresscode
The dress code in all our public areas, with the exception of the wellness area, is smart-casual.
