General terms and conditions for seminars and conferences
The information in the terms and conditions of Hotel Belvedere Grindelwald AG are binding and form part of a reservation and/or contract.
Cancellation
Seminar package including accommodation and meals
Free cancellation or change up to 28 days prior to arrival. For later cancellations we charge the following services:
- 27 to 7 days (high season: 14 days) before arrival: 80% of the reserved services
- 6 days (high season: 13 days) to 0 days before arrival: 100% of the reserved services
Booked services must be paid for at least 28 days prior to arrival.
Seminar room rental including meals, without accommodation
Free cancellation or change up to 28 days prior to arrival. For later cancellations we charge the following rates:
- 27 to 7 days before arrival: 50% of the confirmed services
- 6 to 0 days before arrival 100% of the confirmed services
A deposit of 50% must be paid at the time of confirmation for all booked services. The full amount must be paid 28 days prior to the planned arrival date.
Confirmation
As soon as the written confirmation issued by the Hotel has been signed and returned by the Customer, the contract shall be mutually definitive and legally binding.
Duration of use
The hotel rooms are available from 15:00 on the day of arrival and until 09:00 on the day of departure. Staying in the room beyond the check-out time is only permitted after consultation with the hotel. For any further use of the room, we charge CHF 20 per hour.
Option
Option dates are binding for both lots. After expiry of the option period, the Hotel may dispose of all rooms unless a written confirmation of order has been received from the Customer.
Number of guests
The number of guests reported 48 hours before the event is decisive for the billing of services. Additional guests will be charged at the conditions already confirmed.
Menu selection
The exact number of each dish must be announced at least two weeks before the event. It is not possible to make a selection on site. Any menu changes made on site will incur additional costs.
Insurance / damages
The Customer shall be liable for all damages and losses caused by him or by his participants without the Hotel having to prove fault on the part of the Customer. It is the organiser's responsibility to take out appropriate insurance for this. The Hotel declines all liability for theft and damage to property brought in by customers, organisers, speakers, participants or third parties, e.g. cloakroom or equipment.
Guarantee
Companies based outside Switzerland must deposit a credit card as a guarantee.
Terms of payment
The total invoice is to be paid within 30 days for companies based in Switzerland.
Place of jurisdiction
The contracts concluded and business relations entered into with the Hotel are subject to local law at the location of the Hotel.
