General terms and conditions for seminars and conferences

The information in the terms and conditions of Hotel Belvedere Grindelwald AG are binding and form part of a reservation and/or contract.

Cancellation

  • until 28 days before arrival free of charge
  • 27-14 days before arrival 50% of the reserved services
  • 13-3 days before arrival 80% of the reserved services
  • 2-0 days before arrival 100% of the reserved services

You can cancel free of charge a maximmum of 20% of the rooms you have confirmed 28 days prior to arrival.

Confirmation

As soon as the written confirmation issued by the Hotel has been signed and returned by the Customer, the contract shall be mutually definitive and legally binding.

Duration of use

The hotel rooms are available from 15:00 on the day of arrival and until 09:00 on the day of departure.

Option

Option dates are binding for both lots. After expiry of the option period, the Hotel may dispose of all rooms unless a written confirmation of order has been received from the Customer.

Number of persons

The number of persons notified 48 hours before the event is decisive for the billing of services. Additional guests will be charged at the conditions already confirmed.

Insurance / damages

The Customer shall be liable for all damages and losses caused by him or by his participants without the Hotel having to prove fault on the part of the Customer. It is the organiser's responsibility to take out appropriate insurance for this. The Hotel declines all liability for theft and damage to property brought in by customers, organisers, speakers, participants or third parties, e.g. cloakroom or equipment.

Guarantee

A credit card must be deposited as a guarantee of the reservation. Companies based outside Switzerland must also pay a deposit of 50% of the total amount up to 3 weeks before arrival and transfer the remaining 50% up to 3 days before arrival.

Terms of payment

The total invoice is to be paid within 30 days for companies based in Switzerland. The Hotel reserves the right to charge a deposit in advance for large events.

Place of jurisdiction

The contracts concluded and business relations entered into with the Hotel are subject to local law at the location of the Hotel.
